Gaia Root is a small self-care and wellness brand dedicated to creating soaps, scrubs, balms, beeswax candles, wax melts, and more—crafted only with natural ingredients you can actually pronounce. What began as a personal solution to skin issues caused by Crohn’s has grown into a full line of all-natural products, including deodorant, facial toner, serums, clay masks, and soaks. Gaia Root continues to expand, with upcoming products like curl creams, shampoo and conditioner bars, and toothpaste.

Shirley Galvin
For over 14 years, Shirley has been creating handmade cards—a passion sparked by a magazine ad inviting crafters to send cards to troops overseas. With a father who served in the Army, the mission resonated deeply and soon grew into a love for paper, ink, and stamps. What started in a corner of her living room has now expanded into a dedicated craft room overflowing with creativity. Her cards have brightened the lives of nursing home residents, friends, and family, and she’s excited to now share her passion with the Salem community.

Birds of a feather pottery
Lisa is the potter behind Birds of a Feather, sharing her love of clay at weekend markets throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Self-taught through years of trial, error, and practice, she finds magic in turning a simple lump of mud into something beautiful—just as she often says, “Pottery is magic ❤️.” Lisa and her husband, Ed, live east of Centralia, where they’ve raised five children and enjoy being Yaya and Grandpa to eight grandchildren. When she’s not at the wheel, Lisa also works as an X-Ray/Mammography tech. She hopes others love her pottery as much as she loves creating it.

Paula Kiselewski
Taught to sew by her mother and to quilt and crochet by her grandmother, Paula grew up with a love for handmade crafts. Life as a single mom and a 33-year career as an insurance agent put those talents on pause, but now, as a retired empty nester, she has returned to her roots. Today she creates over-the-collar reversible dog bandanas, quilted bowl and plate cozies, hot pads, baggie holders, and an assortment of crocheted items such as dish rags, jar openers, and scrubbies—each piece made with care and practicality in mind.

Montana is a designer and maker who specializes in custom sticker sheets for every occasion. From playful school themes and festive holiday sets to polished business logos and special event keepsakes, her creations are designed to be both fun and functional. Each sheet is crafted with care, creativity, and a touch of local charm, making them perfect for planners, gifts, or adding personality to everyday life. Her goal is simple—to make life a little brighter, one sticker at a time.
